ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

Hello
I am new to Oracle. My application is configured on Oracle 10.0.2.0. It works smooth but some time if it is idle for more than 10 min it through's error as ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE.
Application terminates unexpectedly. Application allows to re-login.
I have checked response form the server simultaneously, its continuous, so no network issues for sure.
