ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

Hi,
I am getting a series of errors when trying to establish a connection using Oracle's ODP .NET product verion 9.2.0.2.0.

I try to connect. I am successful. I log out and try to connect again. I get this error

ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

I connect sucessfully again. I log out and try to connect again. I get a different error

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

I log in and out a few more times and either get one of the above two errors, or I get this final error:

OracleException Connection request timed out

and I can no longer make any successful connections.

Has anyone come across this problem?
