ORA-03113 end of file on communication channel error

Hi,

We have a problem with our remote site client connection to our oracle database. We can connect to the database and work on with the database continously, but if I leave the connection alone then after around 15 minutes I get an "ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel" error. Then the client has to start the Oracle application again to work smoothly.

In our main office where we have direct LAN connection, this problem is not occurring.

The database is oracle 9.2.0.7 on a Windows 2003 server. Waiting for any suggestions to fix this problem.
