ORA-02158: invalid CREATE INDEX option

Hai all,

10.2.0.4 on solaris 10

When am creating index like below :

create index medt.in_d on medt.in_v(to_date(substr(TSTAMP,1,8),'YYYY/MM/DD');

Error :

ORA-02158: invalid CREATE INDEX option
