ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified

Hi Exports,

          My enviornment is Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production With the Real Application Clusters and Automatic Storage Management with AIX. I am trying to set the Memory\_max\_target parameter which is previously set to 8G. But now we want to increase it to 16G. But we are getting the following error. Please suggest...

Can we increase the MEMORY_MAX_TARGET.
If Yes then please suggest the solution.
