I get the oracle error message: client database did not begin a transaction when trying to select data from a table through a dblink. I have no problem when I pull data from a table directly. I am able to retrieve data within sqlplus and TOAD. Is there something that needs to be included in the connect string to satisfy the Oracle Data Provider?
