ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting entire input string in APEX 5.1 Form

Hi ,

I am using a APEX 5.1 form to capture date and time as appearing below:

Start Date :05-JAN-2018

Start Time :05-JAN-18 11.05.33.428270000 AM +00:00

However while inserting the data I get the following error:

ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting entire input string

This seems a formatting issue but not able to resolve. I am using default values for Start Date as SYSDATE and Start Time as SYSTIMESTAMP.

How do I overcome this issue? Any help on this will be of immensely appreciated.
