ORA-01502: index 'TABLE_NAME' or partition of such index is in unusable sta

Hi - I need some info on the below error..

ORA-01502: index 'TABLE_NAME' or partition of such index is in unusable state.

I'm getting the above error message when I try to load the data to the target table.

The error occurs at the step "Update existing rows".

can any one please provide some info.
