ORA-01455: converting column overflows integer datatype

Eslam_ElbyalyMar 13 2017 — edited Mar 16 2017

Hi,

this my db version

Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production

PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

"CORE 11.2.0.1.0 Production"

TNS for 64-bit Windows: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

I am using this command to export my schema

E:\app\Administrator\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN>exp POS_UAE_HQ/System

Passw0rd@POS file=e:\backup\backup_am\scpos.dmp LOG=SCPOS

and I am facing the follwing error,

EXP-00056: ORACLE error 1455 encountered

ORA-01455: converting column overflows integer datatype

EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

after searching the internet, I discovered that it's an Oracle bug and it's under development, I would be appreciate if you can guide me to a solution.

2- I want to know what it's effect is? can I depend on the generated dump file or it will make troubles?

3- my Oracle home is set correctly, but when I am issuing the exp command from the path below, it throws the follwing error,

C:\Users\Administrator>exp POS_UAE_HQ/SystemPassw0rd@POS file=e:\backup\backup_a

m\scpos.dmp LOG=SCPOS

EXP-00056: ORACLE error 12154 encountered

ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

- does it search for tnsnames.ora in another place?
