ORA-01110: data file 1: '/opt/oracle/oradata/pd1perf/SYSTEM01.DBF'

HI Experts

I am trying to convert window (oracle 10g) to linux (oracle 10g) using given tutorial link. My database is in archivelog mode

when i m trying to alter database open resetlogs then its giving error

sql> ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/opt/oracle/oradata/pd1perf/SYSTEM01.DBF'

even i have tried
recover database using backup controlfile
and
recover database using backup controlfile until cancel
