Hi,
Today we had a strange issue with our production database. While it was running normally, its' instance terminated and when we tried to start it up again, we started getting ora-01092 error.
The version of database was 9.2.0.8 64 bit and OS was RHEL 4.8 64 bit. We did not upgrade it and did not do any changes in it. When we activated and opened one of our standy databases, we got the same error. Then I activated our other standby database by keeping it behind 15 minutes from the time of error and it opened up normally. I am unable to locate the cause of above error. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
