ora 01003 no statment parsed frm-1003

i am using forms builder 6i and oracle database 8i. working in a form.
i retreived a record from the database and i had tried to update it.when i had changed the data of any field and had pressed the commit button , the message error appears " ora 01003 no statment parsed - frm-1003 and for sure the record hasnt been update it.
