ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded

Hi,
I'm using Java and Oracle. Previously i didn't use Connection Pool in my source code, at that time, it was working fine . Now i changed the java code to use Connection Pool, now i'm getting this error.
"ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded"

What is the reason for this error? Is there anything that to be done for Connection Pool.
