ORA-00911: invalid character: Insert into syntax

Here's some code:

INSERT INTO DEPARTMENT
(DEPTID, DEPT_NAME, DEPT_ABRV, DEPT_LOC)
VALUES
(6, ‘AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING’, ‘ANE’,’JOHN GLENN HALL’);


I get: ORA-00911: invalid character
