ORA-00903: invalid table name

Hi Everyone,

I have a page where the user can define the FROM part of the SQL statement. I have done this using select lists with static entries. This all workd fine.

However when i first open the page i am presented with the error "ORA-00903: invalid table name" in the report region. This does go away as soon as i select the relevant value for the FROM statement.

Does any one know how to stop the page from trying to compile the SQL statement when the page is first opened?
