Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,

Please help me with the below error:

I am doing the manual backup and recovery of a database finanace2.

I followed the following steps:

1)Alter database begin backup ;

Copied all the dbf files to a location backup folder

2)alter database end backup;

3)alter system archive log current

deleted all the control,redo log file and dbf files to perform and check recovery.

Control file was sucessfully created.

Set the log source for this path: set logsource 'C:\flash_recovery_area\HITESH\ARCHIVELOG\2012_01_20'

the performed the following command:

SQL> recover database using backup controlfile until cancel;



Getting various erros now:

ORA-00279: change 3799505 generated at 01/20/2012 10:04:53 needed for thread 1
ORA-00289: suggestion :
C:\FLASH_RECOVERY_AREA\HITESH\ARCHIVELOG\2012_01_20\ARC00044_0771505760.001
ORA-00280: change 3799505 for thread 1 is in sequence #44


Specify log: {<RET>=suggested | filename | AUTO | CANCEL}

ORA-00308: cannot open archived log
'C:\FLASH_RECOVERY_AREA\HITESH\ARCHIVELOG\2012_01_20\ARC00044_0771505760.001'
ORA-27041: unable to open file
OSD-04002: unable to open file
O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.


ORA-01547: warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below
ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent
ORA-01110: data file 1: 'C:\ORADATA\FINANCE2\SYSTEM01.DBF'




My archive folder contains only one file with the name:O1_MF_1_44_7KKVSFHC_.ARC. there is no file that has been deleted or no file with the name ARC00044_0771505760.001.



Please help me out with this as i am stuck over here
