ORA-00201: control file version 11.2.0.0.0 incompatible with ORACLE version

Hello All,

We have oracle version 11.2.0.0.0

For backward compatibility we have changed the compatible to 10.1.0.0 in pfile.

But it is throwing error while startup

ORA-00201: control file version 11.2.0.0.0 incompatible with ORACLE version

does the oracle version 11.2.0.0.0 supports compatible 10.1.0.0

Kindly help us how to solve this
