Optional parameter: In Link to URL, how to pass nothing

Hi,

I have a TARGET workbook with optional parameters. From another SOURCE workbook I have links to call the TARGET workbork via a URL, so that it opens in a new browser window.

The problem is that if I omit an optional parameter it prompts the user before running the report. I'd like it to run the report directly, with the optional parameter taken to be left out.

Any ideas? The reports are run in 10g Viewer.
