Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object

Hello To all
Hi expert i'm getting this error "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object". This error occurance is random. Sometime it ocurre once in month somethime in week.
I'm confused becoz current setup running last two year and no change has been made in settings except i have installled CPU (critical patch Update), The error Happens when Application laod data into database and run gather stats. Could any one help how to trace this error?
