Opera 8.5 support?

I note that Opera is not in the list of supported browsers.

According to the Opera site, it meets the HTML and CSS standards listed in the HTML DB doc, and it appears to have as good if not better CSS support than Mozilla/Firefox.

Using Opera with HTML DB version 2.0 results in javascript errors.

Is this a fault of the browser or the application?
