OpenSuse 11 - CVU, CLUVFY

dbfoxOct 1 2009 — edited Oct 6 2009
Hi,

I have a 4 node Rac 10gR2 for Testing with ASM running in VMs (XEN) under OpenSuse 11 on a normal Desktop PC. Not Supported, but works fine. Installation of Patchset bundle #4 with 'opatch auto' stucks - unknown reason (local install on each node works fine). I want to use CVU to verify my Installation, but because of the not supported OS, I got the message "Cannot identify the operating system. Ensure that correct software is being executed for this operating system. Verification cannot proceed." and CVU is unable to proceed.

Is there a possibility to fake or suppress the OS checking for not supported OS when using CVU?
I found only a solution for CentOS (Google with message above).

Thanks and Regards Holger
