Opening report directly in Excel...

Hi,
Iam using below link for pagestreaming of HTMLCSS report.
Pagestreaming is working fine which shows buttons to go to desired pages.

In the report output I put a link to export the data to Excel. Iam using the below URL for this
http://www.company.com/reports/rwservlet?12309_emp_report&mimetype=application/vnd.ms-excel&pagestream=no'
When I run the report first time and click on the excel link, output is directly opened in MS Excel window (This is Excellent and really cool).
But when I run the same report next time and click on the excel link, report is opened in the browser with a kind of Excel cells format, with pagestream buttons at the bottom (Which I don't want). I can not even save the report as Excel file. I don't know what happened suddenly!!! I did not change any thing. Is there anything to be done at the Applicatioon server level ?
Anybody has any idea ? Please give me some directions to open directly in excel.
