Open excel file from task list

Hello experts,

I'm using PBCS and I would like to know if is possible creat a task that open an Excel file with get/set values without log in again.

Users always will use task list from Excel.

IF is not possible I was thinking about leave that file in inbox/outbox explorer and provide a URL to go directly. This option is possible?
