Application team is getting the error 'ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded' in their application log. but in the database level logs(alert log) we are not able to find this error and the max open cursor used by the database is only half of the allocated open_cursors.
What could be the reason why app team is getting the error in their application? Appreciate any inputs.
