Hi
I have been testing policy changes using what-if analysis. I used a rulebase containing two modules and two main goals for the analysis. The second main goal is dependent on the first main goal.
What I wanted to do was a deeper analysis of the second main goal with various permutations and combinations of conditions and results. For that purpose I wanted to focus more on the second goal. As the second goal is dependent on the first goal being positive, I wanted the goal attribute of the first module to becoming an input rather than an inferred attribute in the what-if analysis spreadsheet.
I am aware that this can be achieved by changing the rules or hiding the conditions using Excel's features but it is not an ideal or preferred approach. Is there any other way that this can be done?
If this additional feature is added to What-if Analysis then it will provide for deeper analysis or more focussed analysis available to users and can be split up for sharing etc. This will also aid in conducting smaller portions of analysis, drilling deeper into specific areas for determining policy impact.
