Online/offline backup scripts for Oracle 11g on windows

Hi,

I want some online/offline backup scripts for Oracle 11g on windows without using any backup tools.
Also Looking for something we could use to take the database down, backup the datafiles offline, then bring it up again. The scripts should check that the database has come down cleanly,
been backed up successfully and been brought back up and opened successfully.
If any of these steps fail, then a mail alert notification shall be posted.
