On USB keyboard driver

I'm using a desktop installed Solaris9 X86.A few days ago,I tried to use a SUN USB keyboard on it which had 118 keys.The 104 standard keys can work properly.But some function key such as Paste Cut Copy Undo can't work properly.They led to print the ^a or nothing.I just used the default driver the system provided.Does anyone can tell me the reason that led to this?
