OLVM - no usb pass-through due to missing (broken ?) spice in OLVM (OL8 - 4.4.10.x ) how can i pass USB to guest ??

As OLVM (OL8 - 4.4.10.x) seems to be missing (is this by design or a bug ??) - see my previous unanswered post : https://forums.oracle.com/ords/apexds/post/olvm-ol8-spice-support-completely-missing-how-to-enable-8796

I have no way I can see of passing USB to a guest .

  1. Is this possible without Spice ?
  2. Why is Spice missing ?? Its so much better than VNC generally as well as providing a method of usb pass through
  3. Will spice be added to OLVM 4.4.x ?

I should point out for our test system we are using standard Ovirt - which has both spice and usb pass through enabled by default.
