(OL5) editing /etc/sudoers is denied

lolveleyMar 12 2011 — edited Mar 13 2011
hello,

when I want to modify the /etc/sudoers file, with gedit with the root user in the command line, I have an error message telling me that the disk is read only.

googling told me to use : mount -o remount,rw / , or : mount -o remount,rw /dev/sda2 / , but both are ineffective.

I'm not sure that my disk is /dev/sda2.
can you help me to resolve this issue?

thanks,

olivier
