OIM: How to automatically create (provision) user in AD

726541Dec 14 2009 — edited Jun 6 2012
Hi All!

I am working on a lab test scenario...
I finally successful configured provisioning from OIM to AD and reconciliation from HR DB to OIM. The HR table in the DB is a authoritative source for users. Now I have a question if the described problem is hard to solve.

The user from the HR table get all reconciled to OIM automatically, but I need to manually provision users to AD.
So actually I do the synchronization partly manually - till now.
Now I want to use Oracle Identity Manager to automatically synchronize data from the HR to Active Directory.
The user (employee) from the HR table should automatically get an AD account

Is that scenario hard to accomplish with OIM? I don’t want to code anything. I was looking on the AD user form and I think i would need to prepopulate the fields “IT Resource”, “Organization” and “Group”. But i don’t have a clue how to do that and all other stuff...

I am new to OIM, so your response is greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much in advance!
