OIM - Alternative authentication via AD

hi,

I'm working on a project where we want the users to be able to login to OIM using their AD domain username and password OR their OIM username and password (they might not always be identical, usernames are certainly different). I've been looking around but couldn't figure out how to do this yet, so some pointers would be very welcome...
