OID SSL and F5 broken

user2907418Aug 5 2010 — edited Aug 9 2010
We've been using OID via SSL for some time now, via an F5 big/ip load balancer. We terminate the SSL at the F5 (thawte wildcard certificate) and the communication is clear between the F5 and OID server.

Recently it has stopped working. Oracle 10 clients get a null pointer error and 11g says SSL handshake failed.

We know the thawte cert on the f5 is fine as it's used for other virtual servers.

The main command I've tried to test this with is

ldapbind -p 636 -h oidlb -U 1

Is anyone also using F5's in this way and noticed a problem after upgrading the load balancers?

Thanks.
