OEM status error

I am running Oracle Database 10g R2 on windows platform.When I login to my OEM everything seems ok, as soon as the page is refreshed automatically after 60 secs, I often experience this error message at the top page of my OEM 10g Database Control

"Error

java.lang.Exception: No such metric"

and at this state, the "Host CPU and Active Sessions" status at the OEM home page is "No data currently avaliable."
What could possibly be the reason for this situation?
