OEM Perf Home - Disk IO vs Throughput

Help me pls understand the difference between "Instance Disk IO" -> "Physical reads" and "Instance Throughput" -> "Physical Reads" in "Performance Home"

Why on the "Instance Disk IO" -> "Physical reads" is up to 40 Mb, and at the same time on "Instance Throughput" -> "Physical Reads" max 0.8 Mb ?
