Enterprise Manager

Dear all,

I am installing OEM grid control using an existing REMOTE 10.2.0.1 database as reporitory database. Everything is OK until to the step of Configuration Assistants. The OMS configuration started at around 4:00pm yesterday, and it is still going on at this moment, without any error message (see following message). I have successfully installed another OEM grid control using an existing LOCAL 10.2.0.1 database. The OMS configuration took several hours to finish. My questions are:

(1) How long do I have to wait if using a remote database as reporitory database?
(2) Are there any special system or database configurations needed for using a remote database as reporitory database?
(3) Is it normal that OMS configuration takes long time?
