OEM dbms_scheduler question
ji liOct 18 2011 — edited Oct 19 2011I am running 11.2.0.2 on AIX 7.1 and have a question regarding the logs retention period for the dbms_scheduler logs from within OEM.
We are using OEM 10.2.0.5.
Go to your database and then click on "server", then click on "global attributes".
This will bring up the Scheduler Global Attributes page.
By default the log history is set to 30 days (retention period in days for Job and Windows Logs).
Now, if we go back to our "server" tab and click on "Jobs", then click on history, we see that we have job logs that are much older than 30 days.
Why are there logs older than 30 days?
