OEL Virtualization Machine Manager

I installed OEL 5.4 64 bit and chose all the viritualization products. I tried installing OEL 5.4 in a virtual machine without success. The vm did not have a dvd drive. I got the installation to start with FTP but this also failed.
I was wondering if I could not just download a Oracle OEL 5.4 image from somewhere. Like VMware. This seems different than Oracle VM images.
Don't really want to use Oracle VM
Does anyone have a easy way to get OEL 5.4 64 bit into an OEL 5.4 viritual machine?
