Hi All,
My Windows 10 has recently installed Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3189866).
After this update, the ODT does not work. The error message I get is this:
Oracle Communication: Failed to connect to server or failed to parse connect string
I tried to reinstall ODT but it did not fix the problem.
Removing the update helps, but as this windows update is a security update, MS force installs it every day (what is totally understandable for a security update).
Do you have a better way to make it work than removing the Windows update?
Any help is really appreciated!
P.S.
I use ODT with Visual Studio 2015 update 3 and access the server via VPN.
