We are installing the "ODP.Net Managed Driver Only" on some new IIS servers we are getting. We do not want to install the full Oracle Client on these servers. So I have a couple of questions.
- If we install TNSPing on these servers would it work with the ODP.Net client as a way to troubleshoot connection issues?
- If not, is there a utility we can install on these servers so we can test database connectivity using the ODP.Net driver and not have the Oracle Client installed?
