I have the problem in creating security account in ASP.NET
when I go to security tab in web site administration page it says the following error message. But I can find the OracleMembershipProvider and OracleRoleProvider in providers tab and also it works fine.
The following message may help in diagnosing the problem: An error occurred while attempting to initialize an Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleConnection object. The value that was provided for the connection string may be wrong, or it may contain an invalid syntax. Parameter name: connectionString
The given below is the code I am using in machine.config
<add name="OraAspNetConString" connectionString="DATA SOURCE=elab-oracle;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=stephen;Password=welcome;Unicode=False"
providerName="System.Data.OracleClient" />
The connection string works fine for normal data retrieval page.
Please any one help me.
