ODI - Refresh Hyperion Planning - Performance Issue

When we are loading metadata into Planning, via ODI, and then in the interface check the option to refresh cube (essbase), it takes long time, (40 mins). However the same interface without refresh cube option takes 9 seconds approx. and manually refreshing the application/cube via Workspace URL ,takes not more than a minute. Any idea of the issue. We are facing this in PROD environment. DEV environment works fine. Please guide. Thanks.
