Hi all,
This is a question about actually using ODI to integrate data.
I am looking for help on solutions to load data into "ODI on premise" from "CRM/Rightnow on Oracle Service Cloud", not to be confused with Cloud Services.
In the latest version of ODI (12.1.2.4) the Technology "Oracle Service Cloud" is now available, introduced around Oct 2019. I have not installed/upgraded as yet, however I gather this is a JDBC driver which includes a VPN tunnel to the Service Cloud, I could be wrong but there are no visuals or tutorials on this feature. It appears that this provides the physical connection, however there still needs to be an interface defined/created on the Rightnow system to make the data available. This is where the documentation is almost non-existent, is the Rightnow system interface an API such as Rest or is it something else or is a database schema made visible. There is a brief mention Righnow interface are an extra cost option but no clue whats available. Service Cloud system is a mystery system with very little documentation.
Another option is to use Automonous Integration Cloud and a Rest API, but this seems like double handling, when ODI now has this Oracle Services Cloud connector.
Does anyone on this forum have experience in achieving a successfully interface outcome using this latest connector Oracle Services Cloud, (not to be confused with Cloud Services).
I have another ticket on the ODI interface undocumented mystery tour.
