ODI - generate scenario vs regenerate scenario

Folks,

I am using ODI 11g.

I have a package that contains scenarios:  scn_tableA_ver001, scn_tableB_ver001 , scn_tableC_ver001

Now if I were to go to top level folder in designer, right mouse-click and say GENERATE all scenarios then :

a) will all the scenarios get new version numbers like scn_tableA_ver002, scn_tableB_ver002 , scn_tableC_ver002 ,

If a) is true, then my package will become invalid or be looking at older scenarios.

So what I want to to know is there a way to REGENERATE all scenarios (without going through them one by one) and thereby preserve the scenario names.  OR am I missing something in my understanding ?
