ODI Audit Informations

669050Nov 6 2008 — edited Nov 12 2008
Hi guys,

I read some info about the ODI capabilities to audit informations. But some questions came to my mind.

I know that ODI works with users and profiles and, based on those, ODI can allow or forbid the access implementing this way the Authorization strategy.

Since the Databases behind ODI are only accessible and modifiable through the instances of objects (and their methods) created inside ODI and the User may or may not based on the authorization rules acessa a method or an object, is it possible to know (probably using audition) the following informations?

- To know which user altered (update, delete, insert) a data that is beeing audited.

- To know about any kind of failed attempt to alter a data (update, delete, insert).

- To know which method of which object was used to alter (update, delete, insert) a data.

Thank you very much,

Daniel Ferreira Castro
