ODI 12c connect to MS SQL Server 2019 database

We have ODI version 12.2.1.2.6 with standalone agent installed on a Oracle Linux 7.5 machine. According to the certification matrix for Oracle Fusion middleware (attaching the doc below that is relevant to our version), Microsoft SQL Server 2019 is not listed as one of the versions (in the sheet: ODI Source-Target)

I can also see that in the latest version (as of today 12.2.1.4), it supports till Microsoft SQL Server 2017

Is there other ways that we can use ODI version 12.2.1.2.6, to connect Microsoft SQL Server 2019 database or is it not supported?
