ODI-1228 Task Fails on the target connection

Hi All,

I have  an interfaces that fails as soon as it it tries to connect to the database with the error

ODI-1228: Task V_FILE_ID (Variable) fails on the target connection  <DB name>

If I test the connection from the Physical architecture it is succesfull however,

This is an ODI 11.1.1.6 environment recently upgraded from 10.X

Any ideas on the above error much appreciated
