ODI 12.2.1.3 salesforce JDBC driver connection issue

Hi ODI Gurus,

We upgraded ODI to 12.2.1.3 and want to use the native salesforce JDBC driver to direct connect to salesforce sandbox. However, we cannot pass the test connection step because of the following errors. User name, password, security token are all correct and have been confirmed by our salesforce team. What could be the root cause of the issue? Please share your ideas. Thank you for your kindly help!

ava.sql.SQLException: [FMWGEN][SForce JDBC Driver][SForce]INVALID_LOGIN: Invalid username, password, security token; or user locked out.
