Odbc Driver Shows In Registry Key But Not Under Odbc Administrator

User177447Nov 6 2010 — edited Nov 7 2010
Hi Folks,

I have installed the odbc drivers in Windows 2003 Server with 10g instance client. Everything is installed but the driver does not appear in the Windows ODBC adminstrator.

Having a quick look at the registry they seem to be installed and can find in below path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ODBC/ODBCINST.INI/ODBC Drivers

However when i go to Administrative Tools/Data Sources (ODBC) under drivers tab for installed drivers it is not listed there.

They do not appear in the list when trying to set up a new data source. How Can I Get a List of the ODBC Drivers that are Installed on a Computer?

Please valuable advice will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
