ODBC Driver for 8.1.6.6 with Win XP SP2

When I want to install Microsoft ODBC for Oracle this message is shown:

The Oracle(tm) client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3 (or grater) client software installation. You will be unable to use this driver until these components have been installed.

But I can´t install client software from original CD on Windows XP SP2, it´s not supported.

I have downloaded driver 8.1.7.81 and the Universal Installer but it also does´nt function.

When I want to install this from Datasources (ODBC) it show me this:

The setup routines for the Oracle from oracle ODBC driver could not be loaded due to the system error number 126.

I guess the goal is to install Client software on my PC. But how?
