ODBC Driver 10.2 installation

I need to instal the ODBC Oracle driver on a SQL Server Database server to allow access to an Oracle database on another server.

However, it appears I need to instal the Oracle client for this to work. I must admit, I know very little about such ODBC drivers but am a little worried about installing the client on, what is basically, a SQL server dedicated server.

Any advice would be useful as our SQL Server support are clearly not knowledgable about Oracle and our Oracle support work with Oracle servers only.
